Recently in Soar classes we discussed how each of us cares about our family, friends, school and community. This has gotten me thinking about how can I show my family, friends, school and community that I care this holiday season. So, I have created a list of things to care about and do over the next month. It is in no particular order.
CARING about Family, Friends, School & Community
- Listen more, talk less.
- Help out.
- Collect food for the Oregon Food Bank.
- Exercise to reduce stress, create energy and to watch my calories.
- Call friends who don't have family close by.
- Enjoy traditions. Start new traditions.
- Read a book.
- Give homemade gifts.
- Have fun. Smile.
- Take pictures.

I'm Eric Nguyen.This weekend I'm not going to Seattle,WA.I'm going to see my dad and mom's cousin and there family.They are having a party for their new house.I'm probably going to sleep their for 1 night also.It is going to be really fun.Happy Thanksgiving Ms.Green!!!

I enjoyed seeing you and your Dad at conferences. It sounds like you have a full weekend of visiting family. I am also visiting family. I am in Palo Alto, California visiting my parents. My sister and her family are here, too. I like playing games and doing crafts with my 9 year old niece, Julia. Something to be grateful for is being with your family.

I did eat some Pumpkin pie that my mom made and it was delicious. However, I liked the ice cream and Moonstruck Chocolates more. Two and a half weeks will go very fast. See you tomorrow.

I am so sorry to hear about your uncle passing away. It is very sad when someone we love dies. Last spring I lost someone very special to me and it took me a long time to feel happy again. Going to see your aunt over winter break is a very caring activity to do.

Do you konw how I to care about our people,friend,community,family? I will help them pick up something they drop or hold the door. The thing i like to do is hold the door to everybody but not the bad person or people. When there is a person or people left the door and someone is coming i will hold the door to that person/people cos there are just like our family member to all of us in the world. Like talk about the dropping something. WHen an old woman or man and they drop something i willing to help them to pick up their stuff that belong to them or someone. Like baseball when the player hit the ball to me i will pick it up and give it back to one of the player that play baseball. That is how i cares about other person or people!! When i don't have school day, my dad will take my sister and i to my grandpa's nursing home to play paino and bingo. i will help other seniors to help put the poker chip on the bingo card..
